Subjects

As you know in NatSci you have a lot of options to choose from. Rather than following a set curriculum you can combine almost any of the modules on offer, which allows you to discover new interests, and in some cases end up specialising in a completely different area to the one you intended to.

It’s worth pointing out that the lack of specialisation in first/second year doesn’t at all hinder your degree in the end, and having an understanding of other fields is increasingly important as science becomes more inter-disciplinary.

Although you can generally change your options up to around a fortnight into term, it’s worth taking some time to think the decision over. Talk to your DoS and other students if you have any questions, and have a look at our guide below!
